"Frogwartz" And Our Day of WitchCraft and Wizardry

While in Idaho we found out about this train that has different themes and so we decided to take a ride. On the day we went the train theme was going to be "Frogwartz train of witchcraft and Wizardry." And here is our tale to tell.....
On Friday we made the hour journey to Boise to find and create Braydon and Ethan Wizard costumes (now if I had been home in Alaska I would have had pretty much everything "Harry Potter" on hand). First we stopped at a party store to hopefully find some wands and Glasses we went strait to the HP section to find nothing except party plates and cups....GRR...nothing there. However we did ask the clerk and she found us some plane black wands in the MAGIC show section that made noise and lit up at the ends for the low low price of 2.79 well I could handle that so we left the store and went directly next store to JO ANNs and as luck had it my mom and I found some great cloak making fabric and got 3 and 3/4 yards for 6.50 next we headed to the dollar store and found some clown glasses (that had the same shape as HP's) and I took the red noses off and the large pieces of thick plastic out and voila I had Harry Potter glasses for 1 dollar a piece.
We arrived home late that night and I didn't start sewing their cloaks until 11pm and didn't finish until 3am (sometimes I think I am a little too dedicated). With no pattern and using my moms sewing machine (I even took the time to line the cloaks hoods with Griffindor and Slythern colors) they ended up quite nice if I do say so myself.
The next day we woke up early to drive the hour and a half to Horseshoe Bend Idaho to meet the train. It was already in the 90's as we arrived rather early and disaster stiked when we stopped at the (one and only) gas station there and Ethan announced that he has peed his pants (yes the very special outfits that I had purchased for them Khaki shorts and a maroon shirt for Brig and a Green one for Ease). Well come to find out that in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho there is NO stores other than that gas station GRR.....however, I did see a laundry mat on the way in to this town (out of Deliverence) So we washed Ethan's clothes and his car seat cover and made it to the train station.
The Train ride was Great! There was Professor Dubbledoor, Professor Scrape and a Girl named Harmony, there were 3 other Professors there but I can't remember their names. They had levitation class, a spell class and a magic class before the kids made their own Kidditch Ball to use at the train stop. We had a 15 minute break and then the train stopped they played a game with the balls they made and then we watched a magic show.

We all boreded the train again to have a snack of nasty Jelly Bellys. Then the kids made their own magic wand and had a class on how to use them Ethan loved putting spells on the professors to make them dance. As we neared the end of the ride there was a potions class and finally Wizard Graduation.
We headed back to Boise at that point and went to go see the movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Check out the costume in back of Braydon She was Madam PomfriesThe Boys with Harmony (she was a muggle born wizard from Texas)Their Kidditch BallsThe Boys With Professor Dubbledoor
