Summer Vacation 2009

So we are doing our yearly vacation and we are starting it in Cali. We waited for a space A flight to Travis AFB and finally got one Saturday evening on a C17. The flight was long but we all enjoyed it there was no cargo on the plane so the kids had a chance to run around. We made it to Travis around 9:30 that night and steeped out into the WARM air. We are starting our vacation here and then on to Idaho on Thursday. From Idaho we will visit SLC and Idaho Falls and on the 25th of July we are going to get back on a plane and head to Des Moines, Iowa and meet Daylon there ( He is flying, on the 24th of July, from Anchorage to Des Moines). On August we will all head back to Anchorage.

The kids love running around the plane.....it is one of the best parts of flying on military aircraft.
