Reindeer Farm

While we have been in Alaska we have taken many trips to places that would be an adventure and one of those places we had so much fun we went back twice, once when Daylon's mom and Aunt Cindy and then again with his dad. The Reindeer farm is about 40 miles away in Palmer (the valley). When You get there everyone gets a cup of food and some rain boots, so you don't ruin your shoes in the reindeer poo. Everyone gets to walk out into the pasture and roam free with the reindeer. Then all of the deer come running and clicking (the sounds their tendons in their make) for the little cups of food. After they have devoured all that you have you can stay and play or go and visit the other animals they have there including a very friendly elk, a moose and many others. We can't wait to go back again and again while we live in Alaska. Here is a question to ponder..... what is the difference between a reindeer and a caribou? They are actually the same animal however reindeer live in pens and pastures and caribou roam free.

This guy was the coolest, he would do anything just for some grass

Terry and Braydon, the reindeer were very nosey
