Zoo

Yesterday we went to the Alaska Zoo for Daylon's SMG work party. It was so much fun!!!! There was a BBQ and a scavenger hunt. The zoo was closed to the public except our group (about 100 people) and it was absolutely beautiful outside. We first started with the scavenger hunt, we had a paper that had several questions on it. We had to run around the zoo reading the animal information signs finding different facts about certain animals (Why do polar bears need sea ice? How many calls can a raven make? Why is the Siberian Tiger not an accurate name for it? What is inside the camels hump? etc....). We were one of the first 5 to turn it in so Daylon won a Coca Cola pull over! We then went and ate some de-lish BBQ and after that we took the rest of the time walking around and enjoying the zoo. Braydon and Ethan enjoyed running to each exhibit as they howled at the wolves and roared at the tigers. It is the Alaska Zoo so most of the animals there can be found in the wild in and around Anchorage but it was well worth it.
